Hope!

Happy Friday to all of you and today I would love to share with you a card I created combining stamps from Bluebird, Quotes and Quotables and Secretary Pool. Before I begin, "Show us your AO Art" August challenge still has a week left for a chance to win a store gift certificate, so hope to see you there.
I really love this Bluebird stamp collection and I thought they would look even more lovely using the Vintage Labels from ODBD. After I stamped the bluebirds using Marvey #3 Blue ink and die cut, I heat set and then colored the birds with Broken China and Tattered Rose while still in the die, then I removed and shaded the edges. The larger die was inked with Broken China, highlighted with Faded Jeans and shaded with Chipped Sapphire and Vintage Photo.
The sentiment was stamped in Black Archival, colored with leftover blues from the applicator, shaded and cut apart and mounted on chipboard.
All was layered on a piece of doily stenciled card stock and a piece of burlap trellis that was also inked with blues. Added the "Fly" from the alpha stamp from Secretary Pool. The letters were also inked in various blues. Added a few of those pretty pearls to finish.
Thank you for visiting and enjoy the weekend!

Love the blues. Beautiful work with the die cuts and the texture behind your focal image So pretty with the doily stenciling as a base layer. Love this set!
