Mail Art

I love making mail art. I have an abundance of these manila envelopes that I bought in bulk a while back. I decided it was time to use up what I have and find ways to create with what is on hand. I put down some background paper and then layered a gesso wash over the top of the envelope.  I added a few more strips of paper and a bit more of gesso. I stamped my focal image from the London Underground stamp plate. Behind it is a frame from the Chalk It Up plate. I sprayed several inks and added a drippy look. Rub-on’s add a little extra interest and a framed address label. Happy Weekend and thank you for looking!
