I decided just to have a little fun dabbling with a grungy background. I really love the text stamp that is part of the Paperboy plate. I stamped it several times with black archival on a manila tag and then did some stenciling with the Tim Holtz Schoolhouse stencil, both with Potting Soil archival and then over the entire tag with white embossing paste. After that dried, I did Tim's marbled stains technique with Frayed Burlap and Picket Fence distress stains. I cut two ticket shaped panels and stamped them with the paper boy and the sentiment. To finish it off, I added a few little bits and pieces from my stash.
I hope 2014 is off to a great start for you. Thanks so much for stopping by!
