Let Things Go....

Lisa here today, sharing a Mixed Media card using some leftover monoprints along with the Artistic Outpost Hayride, Mini Masterpiece, Flower Market, Generation Redux, Chalkboard Wisdom and Ephemera Background plates.

To add to the monoprinted background, I used the Ink and Roll Technique to add a portion of the journal stamp from the Ephemera Background plate in Black ink.  I die cut a circle from the monoprint panel and layered it on a Black panel, then attached it back to the base panel.  The girl from the Hayride plate is stamped in Black Archival on Vanilla card stock, sponged with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink, then I attached the butterfly from the Flower Market plate, also stamped in Black and sponged.  The crochet trim is from the Mini Masterpiece plate, again stamped in Black on Vanilla card stock and sponged.  The quote comes from the Chalkboard Wisdom plate, stamped in Black on scraps of the monoprinting, sponged and adhered in place with Gel Medium.  I outlined and doodled around the text using a STAEDTLER Black Fineliner.  To add a bit more interest to the background, I stamped the dots from Generation Redux in White Paint and again in Black Archival.  The Green circles are created by tapping a paint cap into Green ink, then onto the background.

Thanks for stopping by!
