Under the Boardwalk

Happy Friday! Suzz Here.

I started with a design involving the beach huts but ended up with a beach scene and the bathing beauties..  I created the background by adding grasses and sand stamped with a sea sponge.  The skyline was hand drawn after the grasses were stamped in various places. I came back with a watercolor pencil and drew in the mounds and the skyline. I blended with a waterbrush to soften the lines.  I sponged around the edges with brown dye ink.

I stamped the bathing beauties onto white cardstock using brown ink.  I colored their swimsuits and caps with watercolor pencils.

The sentiment was stamped on a coordinating piece of cardstock and distressed to fit in with my distressed scene.  I added a touch of twine and a few mini shells to the center.

The plates used include the new Boardwalk and Keeper.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Love this Suzz! Was just thinking of the Keeper set the other day in conjunction with the Boardwalk set. A natural fit! Your scene is so realistic. Bravo!
