Happy Wednesday to all! Today I am sharing with you my special delivery "birthday" tag! Don't you just love that little and I think he is perfect for delivery that special birthday greeting! So this is how it happened!
My G-son's birthday is at the end of the month and I knew I was going to using the "Paperboy" and just needed the rest to fall into place. Looking through my stamps, I just loved that sentiment from "Quotes and Quotables" and thought it would work so well for a birthday greeting! All images were stamped using Archival Coffee and heat set. The tag background was stamped using the "newsprint" in Fire Brick and Faded Jeans and all shading was done with Walnut Stain.
The sentiment and tag backgrounds were splatter with Distress stains. The "Paperboy" was fussy cut and colored with Faded Jeans and Tattered Rose. Used Tim's "Typeset" for the "Happy Birthday and added a little party favor for a bit of flair! Wanted to keep this easy for mailing.
So happy that you would stop by for a visit today! There is still one week left to enter the April Referral Program with those awesome AO stamps, so go get inky!

Aaaah so that's what you were working on. It's fabulous Terry and perfect for your grandson. I love the background with little splatters over the stamps and paperboy sits perfectly with that great sentiment. I love the colours and design.
One week to go.
