Snowy Day

I seem to be jumping into my winter/Christmas crafting and made this card with the Snowy Woods plate for a "make your own background" challenge, first using a music mask and misting with a vintage photo reinker and water mixture.  Leaving the mask in place, I stamped the music stamp from Ephemera Backgrounds in black archival ink over the mask and the entire panel.  I finished the panel by stamping dots with snowcap acrylic paint around the outer edges, drying it with my heat tool and then sponging the edges with vintage photo.  Santa and the sentiment from Snowy Woods were stamped with black archival onto vanilla card stock.  The new Tim Holtz mini snowflake rosette and the holly branch dies were also used.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful Sunday!

This is fabulous, I love the Kraft card and frosted combination, and the use of the music mask,

Gorgeous Linda, great minds think alike, my next creation uses the same stamp and colours too. Your design is stunning. Love the stencilled background too. Tracy x
