Roses In Paris

Happy Saturday Everyone!  Julie here, sharing a quick Mixed Media card designed with the February 2017 release Roses in Paris background stamp along with the ODBD Pierced Rectangles Dies (all available at Our Daily Bread Designs).

To create this card, I stamped the Roses in Paris background stamp with embossing ink onto a piece of white card stock and heat embossed the image with black embossing powder.

I used distress inks and water-based markers to watercolor the image and fussy-cut around the edge.

I used the largest die from the ODBD Pierced Rectangles Dies to die cut and emboss a piece of white cardstock, layered with black cardstock and mounted the entire panel onto the white card base.

I added the fussy cut Roses In Paris image and used a white paint pen to add highlights to the lamp and flowers.
