Today I am Thankful

Hello, Avril here today with some Autumn inspiration for you using images from the Harvest and Serenity sets of rubber stamps.

My base layer was made with embossing paste through the Tim Holtz wood grain stencil.  When it was dry, I used the new Distress Crayons  and scribbled Vintage Photo and Walnut stain and blended the colours with my finger.

I stamped the country scene from the Serenity set onto white card and then twice onto a piece of tissue paper.  I tore away just the field and added this to the image using matte medium as I wanted to extend the field.  I coloured the sky with Tumbled glass and Tattered Rose Distress inks.  I also coloured the field with Crushed Olive DI when the tissue paper had dried.

My young farmer from the Harvest set  was stamped, fussy cut and coloured with Distress inks and then adhered using foam pads for some dimension.

I stamped the sentiment with Versafine and used Copper EP and heat set, then added with foam tape. I also stamped and cut apart the R.L.Stevenson sentiment to get the Harvest word.

The Autumn leaves were cut using the Tim Holtz Autumn Gatherings strip die and for the final harvest embellishment, I stamped, fussy cut and coloured my young farmers harvested crop.

You've still got time to ink up your Artistic Outpost rubbers stamps and show us what you create in our current challenge - Anything Goes using AO stamps,  so why not join in, all the details can be found here.

Thanks for visiting, hope you have a great week
