I stamped the image onto water colour paper with Black Archival before using the reverse stencil technique with Distress inks to colour the background, using a harlequin stencil. The base card also uses this technique but using a different stencil and when dry I used the schoolhouse stencil to add letters.
If you haven't used this technique before, just ink up you stencil with Distress inks, lightly spritz with water and then flip the stencil, ink side down onto your card, blot any excess inks coming through with a paper towel and carefully lift the stencil for a lovely watercolour effect.
I've also added a Tim Holtz die cut with coordinating card underneath.
You've still got a couple of days left to join us in our monthly 'Show Us Your Art' challenge where the theme is Anything Goes with an AO stamp and you can find all the details here.
