Hello and welcome to my weekly post, and as promised last week, I'm showing you the 'happy accident'.
After finishing last weeks tag, I had an idea to layer the arm up with a foam pad underneath the ice cream to give some extra dimension. So I stamped an extra image of the girl from the Ice Cream Shoppe set of stamps.
As I said, I had finished the tag when I had that idea.
I was in the process of making a card for a girlfriends birthday and had decided to use the sweet girl from the Generation Redux.
I stamped and fussy cut the arm, cleaned my stamp and then noticed the 'arm' lying in just the right place to give someone else an ice cream instead! So my 'happy accident' lead to a completely different card from what I'd intended and the tag didn't get the extra dimension.
I've also used a couple of papers from the Blushing Rose Paper Collection along with a Beautiful Border die cut in cream, both available from Our Daily Bread Designs. My card was finished off with a couple of sentiments and of course Ice cream, which are from the Ice Cream Shoppe set of stamps.
Don't you just love it when you can create something totally unexpected from an image.
Don't forget, you still have a couple of days left if you want to ink up your Artistic Outpost stamps and show us what you've created in the June challenge, all the details can be found here.
