Happy Saturday
Everyone! Julie here, with a monochromatic
wintery card using Artistic Outpost stamp sets, Winter Walk and Skating Emporium.
I know spring has sprung but I do like to create winter cards all year long and Winter Walk along with Skating Emporium are the perfect pair!
I stamped the Winter Walk image onto white cardstock with an embossing ink, heat embossed with forest
green embossing powder and I created the resist by applying TH Old Paper and Tea
Dye Distress Inks to the surface and wiping off the excess.
I created the texture
for the background by inking the TH Winter Knit embossing folder with forest green ink before
embossing the brown sugar cardstock, spritzing with champagne mist shimmer
paint spray, trimming the panel and stitching it to a piece of forest green
cardstock.
I cut the lacy border
with the ODBD Beautiful Borders Dies from forest green cardstock, added the
border to the panel along with a strip of light gold satin ribbon and pearls.
I mounted the entire background
panel to the brown sugar card base, added the layered Winter Walk image with
dimensional foam and added the gold embossed sentiment from Skating Emporium.
I finished off the card
with several pine needle branches cut from forest foliage cardstock using the
ODBD Lovely Leaves Die along with a triple satin ribbon bow.
Don’t forget, we
would love to see what you are creating with your Artistic Outpost stamps and you have a few more days to participate with our March Show Us Your AO Art Challenge- click here for details.
Thanks again for
stopping by- I hope you have a great week!!
