Santa's Coming!

TGIF and I have a fun project to share with you today! My altered little shadow box uses the Toy Emporium stamps and the Winter Collection 2014 paper from Our Daily Bread Designs, so here are the details!

First I took a piece of the silvery snowflake paper and cut this to size and then adhered with gel medium, sanded the edges and then rubbed on some sheer silver metallic paint (wiped off excess), then with a toothbrush flicked on some gold. The rest of the box was painted with a mix of silver and gold and the outer edges crackled.
I knew that vintage Santa was going to be the image on the front of the box and had decided to add a little snowflake framing on one side. The foam snowflakes were painted in gold and layered up.

All the images were stamped in Black Archival and shaded with Vintage Photo or Hickory Smoke as were the paper edges. Added some Christmas little stashed items and all is good!
Thank you for visiting today and a little reminder that there is still plenty of time to enter this month's "Show Us Your AO Art" challenge and not only would we love to see your projects, but you can win a $15 gift certificate to the store!
