Coffee and Friends!

Hello and Happy Friday to you all! Today I am sharing with you a masculine tag using Generation Redux and Chalkboard Wisdom. Before I start with the details, I want to mention the September "Show us your AO Art" challenge is "anything goes" and we can't wait to see what you share with us using those wonderful Artistic Outpost stamps. OK, so here we go!
I inked Black Soot through the Harlequin stencil and then clear embossed, inked with Peeled Paint and then removed the embossing. Some flicking of water and then I outlined the diamonds in a gold glitter pen. I thought this made a nice manly background!
The gentlemen and sentiment were stamped using Black Archival and then I colored the tie using a red marker and using a foam applicator applied Tattered Rose and Brushed Corduroy. Peeled Paint was used on the background stamp to pull the green from the tag background. Then I lightly added Antique Linen for a more vintage look. I stamped the image a second time in Red Geranium Archival and cut it out. Added a few gears with the lucky 17!
Thank you for visiting today and I hope you have a lovely weekend!

Oh Terry, this is terrific! I just love the colors you used. The black harlequin against the peeled paint is wonderful and the splash of red just really pops. So appealing to my eye. Love the use of the tag too!

Hugs,
Linda
