Happy Friday and it is hard to believe we are already starting August! I would like to share with you today a card I created for the recent Artistic Outpost Blog Hop and so appropriate for TGIF!
The AO working girls from the Paperboy collection are getting ready to enjoy the weekend. I stamped the image using Black Archival on to vanilla card stock and the background was then Distress inked and treated with some water flicks and I used a toothbrush to further distress the background with Rusty Hinge stain. I did cover the girls when I was doing any spattering.
Both background panels were done pretty much in the same manner, one using the text from Paperboy and the alphabet from the Secretary Pool (pencil/statement) and the fun sentiment is from "Quotes and Quotables." I just love that one and so true it is. Distressed the edges and shaded.
I sure do thank you for stopping by today and hope you have a wonderful Friday and weekend!

Oh Terry this is stunning!! Love how each of the stamped elements is mounted first, it makes for such a cool effect, fantastic layering of the elements too, a truly gorgeous piece, love it!!
The girls look just fabulous in golden sepia, and like Astrid I love the matting of each element - so stylish. Love the layers!
