Treasured Memories

Hello all, Alison here with a gentle journal page for you today.
I've been playing with the Flower Market stamps again - it's such a delicate, pretty set of stamps, and I've fallen in love with it!
I used the stamps to create background texture for this page, stamping them onto some paper from Finnabair's Sunrise Sunset A4 pad.
I used Distress Markers to add some colour to the images.
This little beehive is just adorable!
I used an image from the internet for the photograph, just gently tinting the flowers in the photo with the Distress Markers too.
And I stamped and coloured the large pot of flowers to accompany her.
I think the quote is beautiful.
This was definitely a calming page to work on... adding delicate die-cut laces and layering it onto kraft card to finish it off.
I hope it's offered you a few moments of calm in your busy lives!  Thanks so much for stopping by, and I'll see you again soon.

Really love this. How nice the yellow flowers coming back on your card because the lady has yellow flowers too. This is so cute Anneke.

I do so love this creation. I am going to look out for the Flower Market stamp plate because it looks so very effective on this kind of gentle, softly coloured project. I love what you did with the flowers in the image. I adore tinted photographs. I have a beautiful one of my mother as a little girl. Julie Ann xx
