Pretty in Pink

Hello all, lovely to be with you here again at Artistic Outpost, and I've got something pink for you today (yes, you read that right... pink!).
These tags were partly inspired by the shadow stamping technique Tim Holtz shared in his March tags, but I took it all the way to a trio of stampings on each tag.
The two backgrounds are done in the same colours as each other - Tattered Rose, Dried Marigold and Worn Lipstick - but one is all Distress Paints...
... and the other is all Distress Stains...
The butterfly is from the Flower Market plate, and is stamped in a combination of Sienna and Plum Archival Inks.
There's some lavender from the same plate stamped around the edges in Potting Soil.
And I also added the Gothic text from Birds of a Feather for extra texture over the stencilling in the background.
The sentiment is from Kudzu Kafe, stamped in Potting Soil and clear-embossed.
And some simple raffia and curled paper string finishes off the two tags.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Great shadow stamping, Alison. Plum butterfly with archival is lovely. Before reading, I was thinking for all tags you have used distress inks. Nice backgrounds. And I never knew we can do heat embossing with archival inks too.
Thanks Alison for sharing the techniques.
