Steampunk Symphony

Hello and happy Saturday. I made this tag to participate in the 12 Tags challenge given by Tim Holtz. Of course I did not want to copy his so I made it my own using my Artistic Outpost stamps. My background started off with some gear masks but I decided to add some embossing and stamping from the Paper Boy and Generation Redux plates to make it more my taste. A little bit of gesso and distress ink adds some contrast. My large foiled flower was die cut and embossed.

I rubbed on black paint and added some spray ink after it dried. Attached to the flower are very tiny gears from an old watch. I stamped my sentiment and embellishment from the Serenity plate. Lastly, I added a sprig of lovely flowers and some ribbon. Thank you for stopping by and don’t forget to join in our February Referral Challenge.

A beautiful take on Tim's tag. The large metal flower looks great.
