Hello all, and thanks for stopping by. I'm squeezing in one last Christmas project with you today - these hearts were made last year, so I really can't ask them to wait yet another twelve months before making their appearance!
I stamped in Archival ink onto the cheap melamine white hearts bought in a sale.
The images are from Snowy Woods (anyone spotted that I like this stamp set?!) and Sleigh Ride.
I did some inking with Distress Inks around the edges of most of them.
And in the case of the blue heart, I fully inked it, and then the white snowflakes were done using SuperFine white embossing powder, while the blue ones are Cobalt Archival.
Most of them are the same on the front and the back, so even if they twirl around on the tree (or wherever you've put them), you'll still have something pretty to look at.
But a couple have sentiments on the reverse side rather than just a repeat...
I may reluctantly have to let go of Christmas now - all the decorations got put away the day after Twelfth Night, these hearts included - but I thought I'd give them one last hurrah on the blog!
Come and play along with us in the January Referral Program - as long as you've at least one Artistic Outpost image on your creation, you'll qualify for the prize draw, and might get selected in our Top 3. Hope to see you there!
