Dreaming of Paris

I was inspired to pull out my Paris Exposition stamp plate for my sample this week.  I started by randomly stamping several stamps from the plate onto a jumbo manila tag using black archival ink.  After that, a harlequin pattern was added using a Tim Holtz stencil and Wendy Vecchi's black embossing paste.  The edges of the tag were sponged with black and vintage photo.
I made the flower by cutting a a bunch of layers from white card stock using various tattered florals dies to get the right sizes.  I stamped the die cut flowers with the Le Ballon stamp in black, sponged the edges with black and the whole flower with Vintage Photo.  Then I curled the edges of each flower and glued them together, stacking one layer at a time.  Once assembled, they were misted with Perfect Pearls Heirloom Gold.

The Eiffel Tower and the fleur di lis were die cut from white card stock and embossed, then colored with Tarnished Brass Distress Stain and sponged overall with black ink.
