It is another beautiful Wednesday and I am here to share with you a "Chalky" Christmas tag! For this tag I used Chalk It Up, Christmas Chalk and MidWinter. The is still a few more days to join in the November Monthly Referral Program, so hope you will ink up those AO beauties and join in!
Improvising on a Tim technique, I inked up my stamps with clear embossing ink and stamped my image on black card stock. I did find that laying my piece of chalk sideways and tapping on the embossing ink and then gently moving it up and down worked quite well. Once I was satisfied, I did heat set and then gave a spray of matte sealer.
For the cottage scene, I masked off the edges with tape before inking with clear embossing ink to fit inside the frame.
"Let It Snow" was stamped in black and shaded layered with black and green and added a little chalky goodness.
Thank you for visiting and if you are celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow, I hope you have a wonderful celebration with Family and Friends!

Oh my goodness, this is so utterly COOL! What a fabulous use of the MidWinter plate - absolutely love the way it looks with the chalkboard look. And the blue/green matting gives it such a fresh updated look. Sensational piece, Terry!
