Christmas wrapped up

If only it were true that I had Christmas all wrapped up already... no such thing!  This gift wrapping was actually done for some of last year's presents, but I don't think it ever got shared here at Artistic Outpost, so today's the day.
I used stamps from the simply glorious Snowy Woods stamp set which is, I think I'm right in saying, AO's only double size set - a whole sheet of A4 covered with the most wonderful Christmas images.
With images this beautiful, I kept the rest pretty simple and natural.  Besides, I think it helps at Christmas if things are quick to do, but I hope you'll agree that they're no less effective.
I generally wrap with brown parcel paper and then dress it up - often with real elements from nature, and this is no exception.
So aside from the stamping, done in Coffee Archival, I've added some pine sprays cut from the branches which we trimmed from the main tree.
I added some rugged white string, and that's pretty much your lot!
Thanks so much for stopping by.  You've got just a few days left to come and play in our Artistic Outpost Referral Program with your AO projects - see you there!

There is nothing nicer than a beautifully wrapped gift, I love the way you have let the stamps take centre stage and the string gives a very organic feel to the wrapping. Hugs, Anne x

I so love Snowy Woods. I bought it recently and it is just the loveliest Christmas plate I have. I love the simple look with packaging and I like to use natural elements too. Your post has actually filled me with enthusiasm to start some wrapping! First, though, I need to buy the presents. Julie Ann xx
