Autumn Plums

Hello all, Alison here (on time this week!) with a plummy autumnal card for you.  Yes, a card... it's almost becoming a habit!
The stamps are mainly from the Hayride stamp set, stamped either in Plum or Sepia Archival ink.
They're stamped onto a book page that's had a coat of gesso, giving a nice additional texture, I think.
I'm so in love with the vine stamp... I stamped and cut a mask for the apples, so that the vine could be behind them.  Same for the pumpkins to get the vine and the sign behind those.
I started out with some clear embossing direct onto the kraft card base, using the Ledger stamp from the Ephemera Backgrounds.
Then I built up the layers underneath.
They include book pages, some of the Prima Resist Canvas torn into strips, and some other scraps of papers left over from various projects.
I had a lovely time spritzing and spraying with various inks and homemade sprays, added another stamping of the pumpkins to the envelope, and that was pretty much that!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  You've just got a day left to come and share your Artistic Outpost creations with us in this month's Referral Program.  We always love seeing what you create with these beautiful stamps.  See you again soon.

The layers you built and the wonderful colours make this a lovely card Alison. Plum and Sepia work a treat together! Hope everything is getting sorted for you!

Another lovely creation! I love the way you use the vine and the plum is wonderful: great use of scraps and the canvas strips too. AO stamps are so beautiful and you really use them well. I would so like to acquire this plate, but I'm thinking about AO for Christmas now. We are exhausted from moving my mum into her new flat! I just can't wait to get crafting again, though. I hope you are now fully settled into your new home. Julie Ann xx
