Haunted Mirror!

Hope you are enjoying the start of the Fall Season and thank you for stopping by today! I am so excited to share with you this altered mirror that I had a blast with! Truly enjoyed every inch.

This all began with laying trims and other findings and adhering with a multi medium gel and then covering with white gesso.
The next step is to apply sprays and dry, before highlighting the areas and items.
I just love this Female Skeleton from the Gothic 31 collection, which she was stamped on an alcohol inked fragment with Black Archival ink and immediately removed with a soft cloth. It is so cool that the fragment fits perfectly in the mirror opening (with a little sanding).
Don't you think that skull makes a wonderfully spooky charm?? He was stamped on foil backed paper inked with alcohol inks and I added a drop of blending solution in the center.

The "Happy Halloween" was stamped, inked and embossed and cut to fit in Tim's metal hardware!
Added the lovely witch from "Haunted Halloween," which was colored with Distress Inks and masked before inking!
This was such a fun project and I hope you have enjoyed this!  This is a week left to join in the September Referral Program using those AO stamps, so have fun and join in!

This is such a stunning project. I have to confess I soon become tired of the usual Halloween orange pumpkins etc, but this has such intriguing detail and wonderful texture - a truly original work of art. Julie Ann xx
