JOY
I am continuing with my aim to create at least one Christmas card per week to save any rush in December, well that's the plan!
I have used the wonderful SNOWY WOODS once again from Artistic Outpost
to create my rustic Christmas Card. The focal image has been stamped
with black Archival Ink onto Core'dinations card and highlights added
with a white pencil crayon.
The
background of the card has been embossed and sanded to
highlight the texture and dimension. I have also added rusty stars and
Chitchat stickers to the top along with joy using Alpha Parts.
I
have die cut a bauble from Core'dinations card and added part of the
focal image to the bauble again adding white highlights with a white
pencil crayon. I have added twine and a rusty star to the top of the
bauble for added dimension.
JOY
has been added to the top of the card to echo joy at the bottom of the
card and a further rusty star added along with a Chitchat sticker.

I love this. Good ol' Saint Nick trudging along in the snow. I particularly like two things: the quote at the bottom.."miles to go before I sleep" where did you get this stamp? And the blue star is gorgeous! How did you color it?
Kateri - the stamp Tracy used is from the Artistic Outpost Snowy Woods Plate.
I meant "what did you color the word joy with, what stain etc."
Hi Kateri, thanks for your comment. The JOY lettering has not been coloured they are ALPHA PARTS which are black self adhesive letters which I have added to my card. However, you could also cut them out of card and then colour with black soot Distress Ink or Stain to add black lettering. Many thanks. Tracy x x
