BOARDWALK

I've created a dimensional piece this week for Artistic Outpost using the BOARDWALK plate.
I added the bathing beauties to an Art Part frame colouring with Distress Paints spun sugar, picked raspberry and spiced marmalade to give a hot summery feel to my piece.
The backdrop has been created with Distress Inks and flicked with water to add blotches to the background adding further interest.
I added a small glass jar to a shelf I added to the bottom of the frame and added some mini shells for further interest.
I masked the bathing beauties and then stamped the beach huts behind them using black Archival Ink.
A sign has been added to the top of the frame and I have stamped the sentiment 'she loves the feeling of sand between her toes' perfect for this piece. I added touches of Treasure Gold wax around the edges.
Texture has been added to the sides of the frame using embossing paste and I have added a touch of dimension to the bathing beauties costumes.
A couple more shells added to the bottom corner along with a sunshine Chitchat sticker.
No summer piece is complete without sun, so I have added a dimensional sun using Art Parts.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

This is fabulous. The embossing on the frame is seriously cool - makes me think of shutters.

Great dimension already created just with the stamping - perfect relationship between the beauties and the huts. Love the colours as always, and the sun and the seashells are fabulous!
