The Good Ole U.S. of A.

Hello everyone, Alison here with my Americana hanging...
It's constructed on an MDF ticket, and uses stamps from Kudzu Kafe and Home, with ephemera images from Old Grist Mill and SteamPunk - it's the old mix and match game again!
The background is Fresco paints and crackle glaze, with the lovely ticking stamp from Kudzu Kafe added as background texture.
The truck from Home is stamped in Sienna Archival and then clear embossed.  I used Distress Markers to add the steely highlights.
For the Kudzu Kafe image, I tapped Coffee Archival ink onto the stamp and then swiped other colours on to highlight various parts of the image: Library Green for the trees, Sienna again for the awning and Stormy Sky DI for the windows and roof highlights.
There's one label from Kudzu Kafe, and one from Old Grist Mill, stamped on white cardstock and inked for a vintage look... along with various Idea-ology and Wendy Vecchi doodads and stickers.
Love the White Mountain Freezer advert (Kudzu Kafe again), and the railway one is from the SteamPunk plate.  The little wooden stars came from my stash - perfect with the ticking stripes, wouldn't you say?!

Thanks so much for dropping in today.  There's still a week left to join in with the June Referral Program here at Artistic Outpost.  Come and share your projects with at least one AO image, and you'll qualify for the prize draw at the end of the month.  See you soon!
