Background Noise

Hello all, Alison here to share my little accordion book inspired by the Typography and Ephemera Backgrounds sets.
Half the pages are done on Gelli plate prints I created.  These then had stamping layered onto them using the ledger and the musical notation from the Ephemera Backgrounds.
I used Memento inks in Teal Zeal and Rich Cocoa for this background stamping.  There's also a guest appearance by the letter blocks from the Secretary Pool set - I LOVE this stamp!
On each of the facing pages, I used a sentiment or quotation from the Typography set, stamped in Coffee Archival.
For some of these stamps, it was my first time of inking them up - and seeing them all at once like this gives me a great reference point when I'm wondering what sentiment to use in the future.
Leftover Gelli prints went through the BigShot with the Tattered Flower Garland die to create the flowers, and the bookplate on the front cover (surrounded by some more of that beautiful music notation) got a good coat of shabby chic paint.
Thanks so much for dropping in today.  Don't forget the April Referral Programme is under way here at Artistic Outpost now.  You don't have to use every single stamp from a set as I have here: just one AO stamp will qualify your project for the draw at the end of the month!  We'd love to have you play along.

This is fab Alison! I was using the letter block yesterday, not with as much subtlety as you though, as you may see. So glad to see you had a win yesterday,
