London Underground

Cheerio and Welcome! This is Kate. I am sharing a tag that I recently made for my best friend. She took a trip to London and I thought this stamp plate, London Underground, would be appropriate as a welcome home tag.

Stamps Artistic Outpost London Underground. Designer Kate Yetter

I started off with some patterned paper with crowns which I tore and distressed. I used a gesso wash and distress ink to mute the background so I could draw the focus to my stamps. I painted and sanded grunge board squares and then layered my images on top. The tags edges were embossed with gold as well as a few crowns that I stamped onto the background.

Thank you for popping by today. There is plenty of time to join in the February Referral Challenge. So start crafting!
