No special reason, but I just felt like making a guy-type card this week so I pulled out Route 66 with all it's cool retro road images. I stamped various stamps from the plate onto a panel of kraft which became the bottom panel. Then I stamped the motorcycle with jet black archival on a rectangle of kraft and used some ink spray refresher to do Tim Holtz's Crumpled Kraft Suede technique. A little foil tape for the diamond plate and a bit of rock candy crackle paint and that was it. Hope you like it.

Beyond cool, Linda... the metal studwork layer is such a great look, and the motorbike looks fantastic on the wrinkled tag - just fabulous!

I like the way the metal layer grounds the card and the faux suede tech on the tag adds cool dimension!

ReplyDeleteLinda, this is fabulous! AO stamps stand the test of time, don't they?! I I need to get my hands on an Ink Refresher. I tried to crumble Kraft the other day and could not figure out why it did not want to cooperate! Love the foil matting too. Hugs, Yvonne
