Paris Tag

Hi, Kate here today, and I am so excited and blessed to have the opportunity to share my first project as a design team member for Artistic Outpost. I know their stamps will inspire you as much as they have me!

For this tag I started by using some gesso on the background and then stamped a script from the Paris Exposition set in maroon ink. I added a torn book page and then sprayed some brown glimmer spray over the top. I used the Eiffel Tower image from the Paris Exposition set as my focal image. It was colored using Distress Markers and the edges were distressed. I embellished using a doily, grunge board flourish, lace, charm, bling and some roses.

This set is so fun and perfect for anyone who loves everything French. Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to join us on Wednesday January 16th for our Monthly Blog Hop. The Design Team has some gorgeous projects to share with you

  6. Love this! I have a collection of very old magazines, St. Nicholas Magazine for Children, that date back to the late 1800's. One of them has a fabulous article about going to the Paris Exposition all those years ago! Vintage Paris - very cool!
