Your fish was how big?

I just received the wonderful Keeper plate and couldn't wait to ink it up!

My friends always have great fish stories that exaggerate the size of the fish caught.  I thought it would be fun to pair the image from the Keeper plate with the ruler from the Whimsical Melange plate to reflect those fishing memories.   To add to the fishing theme I added  a string of fish along the side. I added a sentiment from the Old Grist Mill.to reflect the joy of doing something simple.

Have a happy Friday!

What a wonderful gingham, checked, fun and funny tag - boastful fishers everywhere beware! Love your colouring of the image and how that's picked up everywhere in the tag - gorgeous!

This is so cute! You know, the lady with the pole reminds me a little bit of my mom; she loved to fish and even wore her hair that way. Nifty use of scraps and pieces here, too.

Love, love, love this! The colors are fabulous and I'm a sucker for gingham. The ruler with the string of fish is such a clever idea. It's one of my all-time favorite plates from AO and you wowed me with it!
