A Simple MidWinter Card

Linda back with you today to share another sample I created with the fab new MidWinter plate.  This is such a versatile set with so many wonderful images.  For this piece I focused on the cardinal, stamped in Jet Black archival ink and colored with Copics.   I used one of my favorite stamps from the Ephemera Backgrounds plate to create a faux post card and also added a few pine branches stamped in Iced Spruce.  It was as easy as that to create a quick focal panel for my winter season card.  Be sure to keep your eye on the other DT members' blogs - you'll definitely be seeing more inspiration using the MidWinter plate.

Perfect festive card! Love the rustic ribbon - it complements your beautiful 'Postcard' image brilliantly. Gorgeous colours, stitching, fir branches - all of it a delight...
