NOTES

I've been having a little creative time with the fabulous Secretary Pool stamp plate to create this weeks card.
My background piece has been coloured with Distress Ink broken china adding a little machine stitching to represent lined paper, leaving long pieces of thread for added interest.  I also tore my edges here and there to add to that old notes/paper kind of feel. I added the paper clips to the top of this piece adding a real paper clip for further dimension.

I also found some mini pencils in my collection and added those tied with a little natural twine.  I used the alphabet background stamped with broken china ink onto white card, distressing the edges and adding vintage photo ink to add further to the aged feel. The typewriter was then added as the main image adding background stamping to the typewriter paper.  I added NOTES cut from the alphabet background and added a metal element with my arrow and stamped pencils to the bottom corner.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Enjoy your week.

Tracy...this is so cute! I love your blue and brown together. And those mini pencils!! I am kicking myself right now. I just threw away a whole package of like 40 of those when I was cleaning out my craft room! They all had advertising on them...so I pitched them! DUH!! I could have painted over them!! Argh! Love your piece! :) <3 Candy
