It's the weekend, and a special one at that stamper's! Can you imagine walking through a field of gorgeous and fragrant Spring
flowers? Talk about eye candy for the soul, as well as a wonderful
photo backdrop, and picnic spot. I have never seen the Italian
countryside where I am told beautiful poppies overtake the land. I can
only imagine it, but I have seen hundreds of pictures and masterpiece
paintings depicting it, so artists must have been inspired by grandeur.
I hope to see it myself someday, but until then I can make my own
little masterpieces using AO's stamp set Flower Market, where these little poppies are detailed so well.
To create this tag, I stamped this the flower images over and over again using Distress Markers. I inked the sky with various blue hued Distress Inks, and stamped the upper sentiment in Jet Black Archival, and the lower I heat embossed using Seafoam Embossing Powder. I added Glaze Pens for the detail work. The butterflies were stamped in Archival and colored in with Glaze Pens as well.
I wish you all Easter blessings, and a creative and inky weekend as well!

Georgeous!
What an amazing job you did with this, Anita, in creating a field of poppies - a really cool example of masking and sensational coloring too. It gives me such a surge of spring fever just to look at it! The white stamping in the foreground is awesome too.
