London 2012

 

Continuing with the theme of SHADES OF RED to coincide with Artistic Outpost's Feburary referral theme I have created another patriotic card using the London Underground and Loverly London plates.

I used grey board in the background which I painted with Gesso and then coloured with Distress Ink brushed corduroy and added Cheerio in coffee Archival Ink. I cut out hearts from white card and stamped the images in vermillion Archival Ink and sponged with brushed corduroy, adding vintage photo to the edges. I added the flag and Cheerio to the centre. To complete I added London 2012; this would make a great card for anyone's birthday taking place during the Olympics.
