My card this week uses this fabulous image of Santa Claus from the new stamp release, Frosty & Friends. I am totally in love with these images. I think it's because they remind me of my childhood in the '50's. (Shhh, don't tell anyone). For the background I used the double bugging technique from the June/July 2009 Technique Junkies newsletter. First I stamped "Merry Christmas" on the panel and embossed it using the music folder and highlighted the embossing with mustard seed distress ink. I then embossed the panel with the wreath and highlighted it with Smooch paint. Santa was stamped and colored with Copics with his beard painted with Creative Inspiration paint for texture. I cut Santa out and adhered him to the wreath. I used the TJ technique curled corners on the image panel and adhered it to a red card base. Does this put you in the Christmas spirit yet?
