Songbirds in Mono-Masking
Hi, Barbara here. Here's a card I really had fun making and it's so easy. Although it looks like this card is layered, it isn't I used the mono-masking technique. I stamped the focal image from Songbirds. Then I covered the image with a rectangular mask and stamped each of the two opposite corners using stamps from the Ephemeral Backgrounds. Using dusty concord distress ink I shaded around the center mask. A marker was used to draw the lines around the center image and the dividing lines between the stamped quarters of the card. I love this technique and the stamps from the Ephemeral Backgrounds work so well.
