I really wanted a chance to play with coloring the new Artistic Outpost, Wonderland Collage, stamp collection. I'm not real good with coloring my images, as it doesn't always look the way that I want it to.

So with this image, I colored it with Copics and then used the "wrinkle free" distress technique to age it. I wanted it to look like the image had been from an old children's book. I created the background the same way, using Distress Inks and flicking and spraying water until the colors blended to the right "weathered" look.

Thanks for looking,
Robyn

PS I used some of the new Distress Ink Colors, Stormy Sky and Bundled Sage. We now have them in stock in the Artistic Outpost store.

Robyn--you certainly achieved your goal! This looks exactly like an illustration from an old, weathered book! Great job!!!
