Witches Brew

This was a Double Dare.
More information on my blog if you want to know how this came about. teeheeheee.
I used the Vintage Halloween images on my tag.
Designed By Lynn Stevens

Halloween in Wonderland

When I saw the new Graphic 45 Halloween in Wonderland papers, I knew they would be lots of fun to combine with the Wonderland Collage images. I used Laura's Sketch from 2 Sketches for You for my layout.
I decided to dress my White Queen in her own Halloween costume by paper piecing her robe with the heart design paper from the collection. I also paper pieced the crown, as well as Alice's dress, apron & socks. I finished my design with Prismacolor colored pencils, glitter pens, and a white opaque pen.

The cute little rabbit embellishment is cut from another designer paper in the Graphic 45 collection.

If the Crown Fits - Wonderland Collage

Here is a card showcasing the Wonderland Collage stamp plate.  I used a variance of techniques from Technique Junkies newsletter Bingo Blast and the images were cut out and mounted on a piece I did using Technicolor Dye Ink Method.  The background behind the ornate frame is embossed Metal using Tim Holtz Texture Fades folder and applying Alcohol inks.  After the metal is heat set I applying a light sanding.
Other embellisments:
Prima Flowers, Hiedi Swapp Glass Bird and Sizzix Big Die Cut Frame.

Miles to Go

It's never too early to start thinking about holiday cards, and I think the Snowy Woods plate of stamps are some of the most gorgeous images in my collection. I used the sketch from this week's Critter Sketch Challenge to celebrate Christmas in July.
The image is stamped in Maroon Chalk ink on Basic Grey Fresh Snow paper & combined with Basic Grey Eskimos kisses paper for the mat and background.. I added some faux stitching and a few vellum snowflakes to finish the design.

Keeper

Keeper was one of those sheets that I didn't know I needed until I saw someone else post a card using the set. It is really a cool set with so many versatile images. This young man looks so proud holding up his catch. The main image is colored with Creative Inspirations paints.
This card used the Top Latch technique from Technique Junkies. The red strip serves as a latch to keep the card closed.

Joyeux Noel

Hi, Lisa here and I've created a Christmas card to share with you today!  With all this warm summer weather, I'm sure the last thing on your mind is creating Christmas cards - but it is after all Christmas in July!

The vintage Santa and sentiment are from the Artistic Outpost Snowy Woods Plate - one of my favorite images to use for my Christmas creations.  The image is stamped in Black Archival on Vanilla card stock, I used the Spritz 'N Flick Technique to add a bit of an aged look to my image.  then came back in with Fired Brick Red, adding it to Santa's hat and coat.

Butterfly Buddha

My card for this week's Splitcoast Stampers Inspiration Challenge features stamps from three Artistic Outpost Plates ~ Thai Buddha, Happiness, and A Lovely Day. I love how the different Artistic Outpost sets work together.
My card was inspired by Peace in the Garden Wood Mask from Novica. I was inspired by the combination of butterflies with the peaceful Buddha face. I also used this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch.

Happiness

Hello to Artistic Outpost readers.  My name is Connie Paxman and I am very excited to be asked as a guest Designer and showcase these wonderful stamps.
The stamped images are from the stamp plate Happiness.   I did the background by applying a method I learned from Technique Junkies Newsletter called Pointillisim.  The border piece with the checkered squares is embossed metal which I sanded after applying alcohol inks  .  The bling flower is from Basic Grey.

Timeless Wonderland

This White Rabbit Collage from the Wonderland Collage plate is one of my favorites. I used a brad and bent out he prongs for the hands for my clock. I used pink nail polish to color the flower and blended pencils on the rest. I tucked the stamped clock from the set at the bottom left before adding a Zva Creative Pearl Flourish. Steampunk

I was in a crazy mood when I worked on this card. I got out my Artistic Outpost Steampunk stamps and my Creative Inspirations paints and just had fun.  The guy in the sky has blue eyes and highlighting his glasses, I used oval, clear fragments. It gives him a fun look.

Science Rocks

This card using my beloved Geek is Chic set was inspired by a vintage science beaker from the Etsy Inspired Challenge store Octavia & Brown using this week's CPS Sketch.
I stamped the image from Artistic Outpost's Geek is Chic on a piece of Basic Grey Obscure DP and used blue paper from Basic Grey's Marrekech for my 4 1/4" square card base. One of my all-time favorite sentiments was stamped on a scrap of green DP and punched with a square punch.

Get Your Kicks ...

As soon as I saw this great license plate paper in the Tim Holtz Lost and Found Paper Stack, I knew it would go perfectly with the Artistic Outpost Route 66 images. Route 66 actually went through the town I grew up in, so it holds a special place in my heart. The building in this image sort of reminds me of the old Boots Motel and Drive-in.

The sketch is this week's Unscripted Sketch. I stamped the map image multiple times on the circle and sponged Distress Inks on my main image panel & Route 66 sign to grunge up the whiteness of my designer paper.
