Happy Saturday
Everyone! Julie,
here sharing a Mixed Media card designed with Bottle Caps
Background, Ice Cream
Shoppe and Grunge
Elements stamp sets along with ODBD Custom Pierced Rectangles Dies (all available from Our
Daily Bread Designs).
The Bottle Caps
Background along with the gentlemen and cone images from Ice Cream
Shoppe were stamped with archival black ink onto white cardstock, heat set
and colored with water based markers.
Micro-glaze was used
to protect the coloring on the bottle caps before distress inks and water based
inks were used to create the splatter background around the bottle caps. The large splatter stamp from Grunge Elements
was stamped with vintage photo distress ink and picket fence distress ink was
used to tone down the color around the caps.
The background layer
was also created with vintage photo distress ink along with watermelon and pool
party water based inks and the large splatter stamp from Grunge Elements.
Both panels were die
cut and embossed with the Pierced Rectangles
Dies and mounted onto black cardstock.
The sentiment from Ice Cream
Shoppe was heat embossed with white embossing powder onto black cardstock
and cut into two pieces.
Close-Up of the Glitter |
All were layered onto the card base with dimensional foam and a clear glitter pen
was used to add shimmer to the ice cream and bottle caps to finish off the
card.
Thanks again for
taking the time to stop by! I hope you were inspired today, and if you have a chance
to create a project with your Artistic Outpost stamps, we would love for you to share
it with us on Artistic Outpost Facebook page!
