You Can Never Cross The Ocean

Happy Saturday Everyone!  Julie, here sharing a card designed with The Captain, and Grunge Elements along with ODBD Custom Dies- Pierced Circles and Pierced Rectangles and the ODBD Vagabond Treasures Collection 6x6 Paper Pad.

The Vagabond Treasures Collection 6x6 Paper Pad was used for the background along with the banners and additional splatters were stamped on the background with images from Grunge Elements using walnut stain distress ink.

The young boy image and sentiment from The Captain was stamped with archival black ink onto vanilla cardstock, distressed with vintage photo and tea dye distress ink using watercolor along with Grunge Elements grid and splatter images.

All were mounted onto black cardstock and the young boy image was framed as well as mounted onto a piece of black cardstock die cut and embossed with the Pierced Rectangles Dies.

The compass from The Captain was inked with archival black ink and stamped onto vanilla cardstock, die cut and embossed with the Pierced Circles Dies, distressed with tea dye and vintage photo distress ink and a copper brad was inserted into the center.

Sponge additional distress ink over all of the edges before mounting the banners and framed young boy image directly onto the background and using dimensional foam for the compass and banners.
