Happy Saturday
Everyone! Julie here, sharing a Mixed
Media card designed with the February release background stamp, Eiffel Collage
along with previously released stamp sets, The Golf Club, Grunge Elements and
Ephemera Backgrounds and the ODBD Blushing Rose Collection 6x6 Paper Pad.
I heat embossed the
Eiffel Collage background stamp with black embossing powder and once it cooled,
I fussy-cut the circle element.
I used water based
markers, distress inks and an extra white paint pen to color the image.
For the background
panel, I used the polka dot pattern from Blushing Rose Collection Paper and
applied black soot distress ink with a stencil before stamping the Ephemera Backgrounds postage image and the Grunge Elements splatter image with black ink
as well.
The banner was
created with the green pattern from the Blushing Rose Collection and both the
banner and background were distressed before mounting onto the black card
front.
The sentiment from
The Golf Club was heat embossed with white embossing powder, cut apart and
mounted with dimensional foam.
The circular focal
image was mounted onto the card front with dimensional foam to finish off the
card.
This was a fun card
to design and I hope I have inspired you to pull out your Artistic Outpost stamps and create a project of your
own this week! If you do, please don’t
forget, we would love it if you would share your artwork with us on Artistic Outpost Facebook page!
Thanks again for
taking the time to stop by!
