Parisian Thanks

Happy Saturday Everyone!  Julie here, sharing a fun Mixed Media card designed with the Roses in Paris background stamp along ODBD Custom Dies- Bitty Blossoms and Thanks (all available at Our Daily Bread Designs). 

For the background, I heat embossed the Roses in Paris image using white embossing powder onto white cardstock and added color with water-based markers (wiping each off carefully before adding a new color) followed by sponging green and brown distress inks over the entire surface.  I also added a bit of splatter with plain water (dipping my fingers into the water and flicking onto the paper).

The background image was carefully cut along the jagged edge before mounting onto white cardstock , trimming and layering with an olive green cardstock.   

I finished off the card by adding the Thanks Die sentiment along with the Bitty Blossoms Dies for the flowers. *** FYI *** The Thanks Die was die cut three times- once from gold foil and layered onto two dies cut from purple cardstock to add a bit more dimension.
