Happy Saturday
Everyone! Julie here, sharing a Mixed
Media card designed with the Eiffel Collage background stamp along Grunge Elements and ODBD Custom Dies- Circles and Pierced Circles Dies (all available
at Our Daily Bread Designs).
This was a fairly easy card
to create- stamp the Eiffel Collage background image on two pieces of white cardstock and
watercolor with markers.
Fussy cut one of the Eiffel Collage images around the outside edge before cutting it into thirds and distress the edges with a
distressing tool. Mount the three panels onto black
cardstock, “age” the paper with vintage photo distress ink and splash a bit of
water onto the background to add additional distressing.
Die cut the girl/dove image using the Circles Dies from the other Eiffel Collage panel and mount onto a
circle of black cardstock (die cut and embossed with the Pierced Circles Dies).
Sponge the white card
base with vintage photo distress ink and stamp the splatter image from Grunge Elements onto the edge using black soot distress ink.
Mount the layered
panel onto the card front and adhere the circle die cut image with dimensional
foam.
Use an extra fine
white paint pen to add a few highlights to the flower centers and a clear
glitter pen to add shimmer to the Eiffel Tower as well as the flower petals.
Thanks for taking the
time to stop by and I hope you have been inspired to create a project of your
own this week!
If you do have chance
to create something using any of your Artistic Outpost stamps, don’t forget, we would love it
if you would share your artwork with us on Artistic Outpost Facebook page!
