Happy Saturday Everyone!  Julie here, sharing another Mixed Media card designed with the January 2017 Artistic Outpost Release stamp set, The Captain and the new Steampunk Gears Dies, Vagabond Treasures Collection 6x6 Paper Pad along with the previously released stamp sets, Grunge Elements and Ephemera Backgrounds (all available from Our Daily Bread Designs).

To create this card, I stamped the youth image from AO The Captain stamp set with archival black ink onto vanilla cardstock, used distress inks to watercolor for an “antique” finish and matted onto black cardstock.

The background was created with the Ephemera Backgrounds ledger stamp along with the large splatter stamp from Grunge Elements and the compass and anchor from The Captain.

Two patterns from the Vagabond Treasures Collection Paper Pad were used to create the vertical and horizontal elements of the design and the sentiment is from The Captain stamp set.

All the panels were layered onto black cardstock and a few of the gears were added from the Steampunk Gears Dies to finish off the card.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by! I really enjoy creating cards with a vintage style, there is something therapeutic to me when I get to watercolor and distress- lol!
