My Bounty is as Boundless as the Sea

Happy Saturday Everyone!  Julie here, sharing a nautical Mixed Media card designed with the January 2017 Release Artistic Outpost  (AO) stamp set, The Captain and the AO Vagabond Treasures Collection 6x6 Paper Pad along with previously released AO Grunge Elements stamp set, ODBD Pierced Rectangles Dies and ODBD Rectangles Dies (all available from Our Daily Bread Designs).

I love the images in the new AO stamp set, The Captain as well as the AO Vagabond Treasures Collection 6x6 Paper Pad- I think they are perfect for so many occasions!

To create this card, I first stamped the ship image from the AO The Captain stamp set with archival black ink onto vanilla cardstock, used distress inks to water color the image and also added a bit of distressing with the large splatter stamp from AO Grunge Elements.

I added the compass image from AO The Captain with distress ink in the corner and distressed the edges of the panel before mounting onto a rectangle of espresso cardstock die cut and embossed with the ODBD Pierced Rectangles Dies.

To create the base of the card, I die cut and embossed a piece of vanilla cardstock with the ODBD Pierced Rectangles Dies, mounted onto the espresso card front and added the piece of AO Vagabond Treasures Collection 6x6 Paper (die cut and embossed with the ODBD Rectangles Dies).

I mounted the stamped ship panel along with the two banners (one from a scrap piece of a AO Vagabond Treasures Collection rectangle and the other one from vanilla cardstock stamped with the anchor and compass from AO The Captain along with distressing from the AO Grunge Elements splatter image) onto the card front and added the knotted hemp twine.

I added the stamped, layered sentiment from AO The Captain stamp set along with the knotted hemp twine and spiral clip with dimensional foam to finish off the card.
