Merry Christmas with Gloria

Happy Saturday Everyone!  Julie here, sharing a Mixed Media Christmas card designed with the December 2016 Artistic Outpost  (AO) Release Stamp Set, Gloria along with ODBD Beautiful Borders Dies and ODBD Ornate Ovals Dies (all items are available from Our Daily Bread Designs). 

I love the vintage angel images and sentiments in the Gloria stamp set and used the collage angel image to create my own background paper as well as for a foreground panel.

Espresso distress ink was used to stamp the images for the background onto taupe cardstock and the paper was “antiqued” with vintage photo distress ink along with frost shimmer paint.

I used the ODBD Beautiful Borders Dies to die cut the border and the ODBD Ornate Ovals Dies to create the frame behind the focal image stamped angel.

My sewing machine came in handy for the zip zag stitching and I finished off the card with frost shimmer paint on the background, looped gold trim, heat embossed sentiment from AO Gloria and pearls.
