Happy Saturday
Everyone! Julie here, sharing a Mixed
Media card designed with Artistic Outpost stamp
sets, Ice Cream Shoppe, Bottle Caps Background and Grunge Elements along with
ODBD Tag Trio Dies, ODBD Bitty Borders Dies and ODBD Mini Bow Die (all
available at Our Daily Bread Designs).
To create the
background panel, I stamped the AO Bottle Caps Background image with archival
black ink onto white cardstock, trimmed the panels between the bottle caps and
colored the central panel with red, green and turquoise water based markers.
I used a water brush
with vintage photo distress ink to age the three panels and stamped the large splatter
image from AO Grunge Elements with vintage photo distress ink as well.
I toned down the two
outer panels with picket fence distress stain and layered the panels onto white
and black cardstock.
I repeated the same
steps as in the outer panels above to create the background for the tag, die
cut the panel with the ODBD Tag Trio Dies and mounted onto another die cut from
black cardstock.
I cut three banners
for the lower part of the tag with the ODBD Bitty Borders Dies- one from
turquoise, one from black and one from bright green cardstock, layering each so
a bit of the color will show behind the tag.
I stamped the girl
image from AO Ice Cream Shoppe with archival black ink onto white cardstock,
colored with water-based markers, fussy-cut and mounted onto black cardstock to
fussy-cut again before adding to the tag.
The bright green bow was die cut with the
ODBD Mini Bow Die and a turquoise button was added to the center and once the bow was added to the tag, the entire tag was mounted onto the card front with dimensional foam.
The sentiment from AO Ice Cream Shoppe was heat embossed onto black cardstock with white embossing
powder, trimmed by hand and mounted onto the tag.
I added a bit of shimmer with a clear glitter pen to the ice cream cone and colorful bottle caps to finish off the card (hard to see the shimmer in the photo).

I had a great time
creating this fun card and I hope I have inspired you to pull out your Artistic Outpost stamps and create a project this
weekend! If so, please share with us on
our Artistic Outpost Facebook page- we would love to see your
creations!
Thanks for taking the
time to visit us today- have a great week!
