Seed Packets Background Shaker Card

Happy Saturday Everyone!  Julie here, with a fun shaker card featuring the new Seed Packets Background stamp from the Artistic Outpost Spring Release.

I could not decide on a sentiment since I did not want to cover any of the beautiful artwork.  I think that this card would be a great note card or you could add a sentiment as needed at a later date :-)

To create the main panel for this card, I stamped the Seed Packets Background Stamp with Stāz-On® Jet Black Ink onto white cardstock and colored each of the seed packets images with water-based ink and markers (using a water brush to blend the colors).

After the panel dried, I applied Tim Holtz® Distress Vintage Medium, allowed that layer to dry and then applied Distress Collage Medium.

The black cardstock frame was die cut with the Our Daily Bread Designs Double Stitched Rectangle Dies and a piece of acetate was adhered behind the frame.

I added two-sided self-adhesive dimensional foam all around the back of the die cut frame, poured the green seed beads into the center of the acetate and adhered the stamped background panel onto the frame.

I mounted the entire shaker panel onto the and sponged the edges with Tea Dye Distress Ink to finish off the card.

It has been a while since I designed a shaker card- I had fun putting this one together for sure!
